Theres Elgato iTuner or something for TV on a Mac. Not sure if it comes in HD.

External TV tuner's which work a Mac TV tuner app, can't really use PCI ones in Mac's because only the Mac Pro has the Slots.

I would choose the Dell over the Apple since it has a newer revision on the LG LCD used in both the monitors.

But you guys forgot HP. They make the nicest 30" at the moment, Uses the exact some LG as the Dell but has some nice features on it but still the apple look's the sexiest of the lot

Yes, but you still have to have your satellite box hooked up to decode the signal

Satelite > Cable to Receiver > Cable from receiver to the elgato

Yea, they're pretty nice monitors, but i don't think they make the actual LCD's , so you can usually get a better deal with another brand using the exact same monitor.
