  Old  Apple Mac Mini.

After using Apple iMac's at College for over a year now, I have decided to make the switch.

Don't tell me to get an iMac, Mac Pro or whatever, it's not going to happen due to my income. I just want to know what you guys think of the Apple Mac Mini if you own one, or have done previously.

When I eventually purchase one from Apple, I'll be getting the £500 ($800) model, maybe even the £400 ($600) if money is mega tight.

Discuss.

The new minis are 'supposedly' in the works. I would wait unless you absolutely need it.

Is that rumour from a good source?

It at the end of it's product cycle. iMacs and Mac Mini's are supposed to get processor upgrades at the least. Many Apple sites have been reporting it for the past week or two.

Hey,

I can agree on the above statement! When your first going to get an iMac then you should get a proper one that will cover all your needs at any time! It's a pain in the ass when your computer don't have the power you require to use the computer for your day to day business!

If it's that important to save $ you can duplicate the same setup a mini has (but in atx form factor) for around $320.
