Old  Tax Account/ Copyright my site

I am currently 17 years old and I have started my own website. I use google adsense, but that is under my dad's name right now and his account. However, my dad wants me to set up an account with tax information so when I turn 18, I can have the checks sent to me. I just want to know if setting up a tax account at an early age is a good or bad idea. Also, how do I go about copyrighting my site, and how much does it usually cost?

Why does your age then say 23?

I do suggest you change that right away. That can be considered defrauding other members, which no one around here likes.

What do you mean a tax account? Despite your age and whether or not you think it's a good idea, if you earn enough of an income, you have to pay taxes at the end of the year.

The only thing I can think of is a Tax Id. A tax id is your SSN unless you are a corp.

Well unless you want to go to jail for fraud, I suggest you pay taxes.

Your site is automatically copyrighted when you create it...

Regarding the tax, if you're in the UK skip that part. You can earn upto £5,000 before paying any tax.
