Freelance - What comes to mind?

When you think of the word Freelance, what exactly comes to mind? Do you think of just one thing in particular? If you do, I would bet that most of you would say a freelance graphic/web designer, but for myself I think more so of freelance programming.

Working for yourself is what comes to mind for me.

Photography and writers is what comes to mind first for me.

Yea, which is in reality what comes to mind, but for some reason when I think of it I just automatically think of programming since that's what I do.

A Flexible Lifestyle comes to mind

Unemployed and works from home to generate an income.

Free work. haha

I wish everyone here did free work, I suck at graphics
