Profit from WP Templates

There are hundreds of sites out there giving away free WordPress Templates that it makes me want to stop trying to sell mine. Is there actually someone who buys a template or not? If so, what kind of template are we talking about?

There's always a profit in everything. You need to have a little little luck in the way of a client looking for a preferred style that they cannot get anywhere else. For example, you design something unique, and the right client comes along not only will you make a sale but you'll most likely get your asking price and more.

This scenario happened to me once. I designed a template system (unique design) and I was struggling to get a minimum sale from it untill the right client came along and I got more than my asking price because it was exactly what they were looking for.

Well quality work always pays out. But rather than designing random WP themes I would suggest you going on E-Shop (rare at the moment and you can request high prices). Of course you can gain a lot of benefit from Wordpress themes too, but you´ll need to have unique creations.
