  Old  Bridging Internet connections

I have both an ethernet card and wi-fi card on my desktop computer. Though I currently use the ethernet card only, my pc picks up a very nearby wi-fi connection. If I bridge the connections, will I get a speed boost?

It is actually possible, and it could help, but with wireless it's pointless, and you're likely to not notice the difference.

Of course it would, at my office we bridge to sepearte connections (both 2 up 2 down dedicated lines) so they are bonded together through the gateway machine, which then goes into the hardware firewall, and then the gigabit switch for the network. The lines are with two different companies as well, so if one goes down, we always have another.
