Update on Offers and Requests forum posting rules

Hi everyone,

After a lot of discussion recently, the staff have come to agreement on the the Offers and Requests forum rules. There have been questions regarding the 5 day posting rule and whether members can post in multiple sub-forums within the 5 day rule. Here is the clarification:

Advertising is limited to one ad per 5 days posted in the Offers and Requests sub-forums.

This means that you can make multiple threads in the sub-forums, but they must not be offering or requesting the same items/projects.

For example:

Within 5 days you make a thread for selling a template in Design offers and requests, another thread for selling your programming skills in Programming offers and requests and maybe another thread selling a full web site you have designed in Website offers and requests.

As long as these are for individually different items/projects then it is ok.

What is not ok is, for example:

Within 5 days you make a thread for selling a template in Design offers and requests, another thread for selling your design skills in Design offers and requests and maybe another thread selling a full web site you have designed from the template you are selling in Design offers and requests in the Website offers and requests sub forum.

For this you would possibly get a ban for 7 days, repeat offenders could be banned permanently.

I am adding this to the advertising rules in each of the sub-forums, so there is now no reason to be ignorant of this rule.
