What are the requirements and costs to become a limited company (UK)?

You also have to add VAT onto your products (17.5% of the sale price is taxed) but you are then tax deducatable. EG a computer would be a lot cheaper.

There are no requirements but if you earn over a certain amount (I forget) then you HAVE to become limited.

Ok cool thanks. any any cost details? i looked on that site and it says £99.. surely thats not right? must be more than that.

Well I'm not sure about initial cost (just googled) but it costs you a lot in taxes.

nah registration is cheap i tihnk it might be 99 pounds.
it may sound cheap, but remember the lisbourne plan, britain is really really trying hard to become competitive against germany and the world, its attracting a lot of FDI thats why its considered one of the BRICs FDI powerhouses(britain,russia,india,china). They are probably making it really cheap and easy to setup business in england on purpose.
