GreenZap goes after PayPal
By: Mason Galindo | Greenzapguide.com

GreenZap, a new online payment processor is preparing to release its services to the public June 1st. It plans to offer all the conveniences found in PayPal but will provide some unmatched incentives, which will really give it a leg up in the competition to becoming one of the Internet’s largest payment processors.

There has been some skepticism floating around which questions the legitimacy of the company but after some researching, I’m convinced it’s a legitimate business. There’s been far too much work vested into the website, the program documentation, and the system for this to be a scam. Some people claim to have dug up some precarious information on the company but at this time of writing there hasn’t been any acceptable proof that sustains these accusations/suspicions.

GreenZap is unique in the respect that it plans to share its wealth with its community. It accuses PayPal of hoarding its success and not sharing it with its members. GreenZap has what seems to be a very logical and very fair rewards program outlined. The rewards program will work like this. For each member that pre-registers with GreenZap (registers prior to the official launch date, June 1st, 2005), $25.00 will be rewarded instantly and in the form of “cash”. I use the term cash loosely because it exists in your GreenZap account but can be spent virtually anywhere you choose to spend it. The rewards don’t stop here however. For each individual you personally refer to GreenZap, you receive $5.00 in your account. GreenZap also offers the option to upgrade to a GreenZap Gold Account by depositing $100.00. With a GreenZap Gold Account you’ll continue to receive $5.00 for each ‘Green Zapper’ you personally refer but for each person you refer who upgrades to a Gold Account, you’ll get $20.00. As a GreenZap gold member you’re also eligible to receive GreenZap Community rewards allowing you to earn between $5.00 and $30.00 for every member in your community. When you create a GreenZap account you can create your own promotional code, which you can then give to your friends and family to help build your network.

The potential to earn money here is quite obvious but how GreenZap can spend so much on rewards isn’t. How can a newly formed corporation afford to reward each person that signs up $25.00 without going bankrupt before debuting it’s services to the public? GreenZap says it understands the value of its customers and has the flexibility to redistribute their funds to the valued customers who help them grow everyday. Then how does GreenZap profit you may be asking yourself? Simple. They profit the same way any other financial institution does, by the transactions made by their members. Now this is where the caveat reveals itself you may be thinking. This couldn’t be further from the truth. This is where yet another GreenZap benefit reveals itself. GreenZap only charges $1.00 per transaction as opposed to the 2.9% + $0.30 USD charged by PayPal. An example Alex Sonkin the GreenZap President used in a conference call was this: imagine yourself selling on item on eBay for $1,000.00. If you use PayPal to process this payment, you can expect to pay at least $20.00 in transaction fees as opposed to paying a single dollar if you use GreenZap.

If the promises boasted by GreenZap are upheld, then it’s only a matter of time before companies of all sorts begin accepting GreenZap payments. GreenZap even plans to cater to the eBay community! GreenZap intends to be accepted everywhere PayPal and MasterCard are and also says it will have a credit card with the MasterCard logo on it. The service sounds very promising. If you’re interested in signing up, you may do so by visiting www.greenzap.com. If you’re reading this prior to June 1st, you’re still able to receive the $25.00 reward.

Happy Zapping!

No, this wasn't all for my referral link Rob. So much for trying to initiate any discussion on this board.

So Rob, what makes you think GreenZap is a scam? I'd like to know, I'm opening a resource website on GreenZap and if you have a geniune reason as to why you think it's a scam, let us know what it is!

Thanks

Jabbie, the referral id was posted in the article because part of this program that is explicitly stressed by Alex Sonkin, the GreenZap President, is that you spread the word with your referral id to establish networks. It's the premise of the website but Rob seems to have issue with it so it's been removed.

They are giving away $25 to anyone who signs up. Tell me, why did you even post that referal ID. How much would you make if people signup under your name?

It's too good to be true.
