First simple template!

Had a crack at making a very simple template,

Anyway here tis:

it's pretty bland...and much too monochrome.

Yeah, too much grey.. I'd add a splash of colour in their if I were you. I'm also not sure about those white boxes around the news items.

It's your first template so we can't be too harsh If you saw my first template you would laugh! (you probably still do) lol. As the others said, too much of the same colour, no real contrast and a rather generic format.

this is how pretty much all my stuff starts out, then i just go mad, let it flow dont hold back, go mad with colours, try combinations of 2's and 3's. dont be too linear, keep going remember contrast is crucial.
