This is how it is for every new OS i remember xp oh xp sucks im never going to upgrade blam a year later everybodys using it.

No, it's not.
I don't recal XP being defective by design, having so much built in DRM that I can't watch my HD-DVDs, etc.

I won't be using this for a fair while, to many things just popping up and bothering me. I don't need to click 100 'Ok' boxes when I want to download a simple file.

Where do you get that? They have pop ups for when something is trying to access your computer. Anyways, it will ask you once and that's it.

I haven't tried Vista and I'm not in any rush to pick it up. I've been happy with XP Pro ever since the day I bought it. (I hated Windows ME but XP hasn't given me any problems)
