I think he means a program that will aid project management of client work. You should check out MS Project 2000 and add some of the major functionality of that. A timeline is essential, one that shows tasks, estimated date of completion, costs etc. Also how about a client login? Where they can login to view status of their project, live previews and communicate with the developer.

Robson, have you used MS Project? Is it any good?

Any other organizational tools that can be recommended?

White-Line, timeline is a must as Robson said.

Basically I would want to do this,

Create a client account,
Add project details,
Create a timeline,
Create a timeline for payments,
Have the client able to login and complete payments, check on things.

Ah! I see. Yeah I never could get my head around the point of Microsoft Project, but I can perhaps see how it could be handy from a client perspective. Certainly everything Robson and sysblnk said, although I don't know how you could do it for client login without making it web-based. Although maybe that could be a good idea?

I agree with the client login that most likely will not be a feature but the timeline is a good idea and you have also posted some good ideas that I will surely include what would you pay for a piece of software i was thinking of retailing at around 20 pound.

£20 sounds reasonable for a piece of projecting software yeah You could always make some kind of Web Publishing type thing in as an extension though for the client login?

For the client login it would be neat to be able to install some sort of script on the web that you can sync to.
