Looking for a new laptop.
I've searched some and theres all different kinds I like. I am trying to stay away from the Macbook at the moment as I will buy one eventually. But do any of you guys have any suggestions? I'd be looking for one with lots of RAM as I am a designer and have Photoshop and other windows etc open alot.
If you could flood your suggestions below that'd be great

I've been very happy with my gateway. I can leave photoshop running, and play some css without a hitch.

HP 510 Notebook, can have photoshop, internet, email, messenger and around 10 other general windows and it works great. Also looks snazzy as well.

Dell has just released the new Inspiron 1720 which look pretty nice:

I have bought two laptops of Dell in the past and can highly recommend them. Depending on your budget you can pick from either 1, 2 or 4GB of RAM.

Also the new Dell XPS M1330. It's the worlds thinnest 13" laptop and I can vouch for the XPS service being the best I have experienced with any company.
The Price and Specs are great too. A lot cheaper than the almighty rip off that is the macbook.

I don't have a budget at the moment, I plan on getting around £600 saved, then maybe my mum and dad will help me.

If you have enough money, I'd suffest the Dell XPS 1220 or 1330. I have the 1220, and, although the screen is smaller, I very highly recommend it.

Dell is the way to go. You can get a custom made one which would be cheaper than buying another brand and upgrading it i guess. They are quite sexy now which is odd for a PC notebook haha. Stay away from Alienware, theyre a Dell in another case which costs a extra $500. I guess you would want a 15" if your doing PS, though the XPS is only 13.3".
