I just designed the site, the characters were made by our illustrator as well as the bottom half "globe", I designed the site around his illustration and drew the piee of land above holding the buttons..

Well you guys did a good job.

The only thing I'd like to suggest is maybe you should remove the black stroke around the nav buttons. Maybe replace it with a darker purple..? Right now it almost distracts from the actual text on the buttons.
