  Old  Media player vs Winamp?

I always hear alot of discussion regarding these two media players, I personally use windows media player (it has everything i want and does everything i need) so never had to try anything else. What is everyones opinion on media player? Is winamp better? If so why? Does it actually offer anything than wmp doesn't? Is it a purely "I hate microsoft and won't use there products" thing?

I'm interested to know...maybe my judgements are wrong and everyone here does use wmp (I don't know lol)

The vote goes to wmp for me.

Winamp is SO much better than Windows Media Player.

It's a MUCH clearer sound. I used to use WMP, but I always thought the sound was too bassey no matter what I changed or tried, then I downloaded Winamp, and it was perfect CD quality there and then.

Not to mention great skins, in multiple forms.

Winamp.

1. It looks good.
2. It's small.
3. You can get a free song (Usually a decent one too) with the bundled version.
4. Plays a HUGE variety of formats (Including Realplayer and Quicktime files!). WMP doesnt play OGG Vorbis, etc.
