  Old  anyone with reseller accounts?

is there anyone here with a reseller account that host multiple sites? If so, what kind of package did you get(bandwidth, space, etc)? How many sites do you host on it? do your sites' traffic effect any of your others sites also on the account?

I've used http://www.dathorn.com for several years now. I've had sites that used as much as 40GB of bandwidth a month and it had no effect on my other sites. I think the most I've had hosted at once was around 40 different sites. I use their basic package.

I have a resellers account. I am at work I cant remember off the top of my head what package I have. But I would like to say that buying a resellers account was the best thing I ever did from an organizational point of view. Everything is completely seperate, extremely easy to manage, and set up accouts quickly for testing databases ect.

I have about 20 websites on there.

As for one website affecting the rest, depending on your setup, usually one website gets slashdotted and brought down, the rest go down with them.

Been using mine for almost 3 years now. For 7.95 its.... 10 accounts max (or 9.95 for unlimited + morespace more bandwidtH) i get... 3gigs i think and 50gig traffic and everything else unlimited. Oh and the support is excellent. 24/7 is always on and the support ticket system has a 2-3 hour reply turnaround.

The sites don't affect each other at all..

I have a reseller with Hostgator.com,
I currently have the basic reseller account (24.95/m) and it gives me 5gb/50gb and i host anywhere from 15 small sites to 5 larger sites. Speed is great, downtime is nonexistent.

I have a small now: 2 GB of space. I have more than 12 sites myself and got the account to pay less for hosting them all. I do pay less and I have some space to sell to my clients and pay for my space with their money. I'm just starting this now.

I no longer have any resellers but when I did, I always make sure I get over 100GB of bandwidth. As long as you do not use all your content, sites on the same reseller account do not affect each other.
