  Old  Cut Down On Spammers?

Hey, is there any way to cut down on the spammers? I am seriously sick of short meaningless posts or posters who can't even write sentences. If it means limiting the demographic I would be for it (obviously others won't).

I ban them on sight, they're generally link builders and they absolutely destroy the quality of forums. Report any we've missed and I or one of the other staff members will take care of it. We are working on preventive methods to stop this form happening in the first place.

Yeah, I was more meaning preventative measures. You do a good job of removing them.
