Old  What payment methods do you use?

I'm interested to know what different payment accounts everyone holds, I only have a paypal account. Anyone have more than one account? What in your opinion is the best payment method (based on support, transfer fees, ease of use etc). I guess for me paypal is the only method I would even bothered with (most widley used) however right now i'm having problems with it (seems like there is a new problem every day!)

I guess the next step might be to get a merchant account, something like 2checkout.com? or worldpay?

I actually have a few payment methods lol.

First I have a stormpay account and a paypal account. (I quiet like stormpay but not used that much)

Second I have a 2checkout account (I love them they are extremely good and offer wonderful services for fraud protection and everthing I stongly reccommand them.)

That is all I currently have. I also have a bank wire transfer online type thing that I use for money orders, echecks, checks, bank wire transfers, etc

Not all the accounts are mine but I use them. The 2checkout one is my parents. I mase well use it since they don't

Regards,

I have both a PayPal account and a 2Checkout account. I find that its much easier to access my funds when I use PayPal (with 2Checkout I have to wait on the cheque to be mailed each time). If it weren't for the fact that most of my customers prefer paying by credit card directly than going through PayPal I'd do away with the 2checkout account.

(By the way guys, I wouldnt advise you to keep too much money in your PayPal account at any one time, Ive heard too many stories of persons having their PayPal accounts 'frozen' without any clear reason as to why it was done.)

Authorize.net account is primary then comes paypal. It is too easy to get a merchant account these days to pass up the control you get, especially with top notch billing applications like ClientExec.

My account is currently "frozen", when you rearch £4,500 they lock it to comply with money laundering regulations and you have to fill out all these details to prove who you are etc. Well i was late filling the last one in (setting up direct debit) so i'm waiting for that to get sorted  it's just another hassle!
