But yeah, i don't think it will close given all of the good in tourism revenue it would generate for australia. In the news article it also says that the documentary was on about "mystifying" the stingray. I guess he met his match.

They just had a 20min thing on TV about it. I should have taped it and uploaded it. They had a fair few interview with friends and that, and also explained exactually how he died from it. The barb was pretty big and went straight into his heart.
