Well, i presume so, given that it hasn't been fixed, ever, and it's been discussed in quite a lot of depth that they don't even no what's causing it.
That said, i suppose we'll find out later, won't we
And i know Linux is compatible with a lot of things, just not most of the software i need to use.

Oliver, even if you were to use Linux (and FF3) it still has a leak issue.
Regardless, I've never had ANY issues with memory leak for quite sometime. This is also because I don't run useless plugins. I have 5 activated, and that's it. I typically have about 25 tabs open at any given time, and never surpass 125MB of usage from FF3 RC2.

Yea, I don't think firefox had plan's for someone to have 60 tabs open at once. The max I have head since using fire fox was 8.

Firefox is a nice browser IMO. But I've noticed that with the new google interface...almost everytime I go to check my mail...FF freezes Anyone else have this problem?

Nope, It's not just you. I get it to, but that's only when I send an email that's quite big.

Windows sucks, I want a mac. Ya know only after using vista have I started thinking this way.
Anyway, I have like 8 tabs open max MAYBE 10. 60 :| What size screen are you on, I'm on 22" and 10 is enough for me.

Gareth just showed me how good Opera is...
I used FireFox before and god it's slow and slows my machine down.
