Id just like to get some C&C on this small and simple design for my portfolio site, Pircelesspixels.com. This design is alot diffrent from alot of other designs out there, and thats what I wanted to achieve. So in other words im not expecting all of you to like this at all, but please tell me why

Mmm the glow and the blues are a bit too bright? Try darkening them a bit, to match the background a bit more.

I didnt want it like that, I wanted the variation

Looks more like a calculator or a phone (just missing the reciever and the * and # keys along with the other numbers)

Haha it does look like a calculator! Infact i have seen alot of other personal portfolios using this "calculator pad" style to link their work....e.g taruns website.

The colours are decent, no doubt about that! I'm not a fan of the layout or the fonts used though, the icons for aim etc seem out of place, perhaps you should make some custom ones for this layout?

I think you should add another colour...perhaps orange? Stick to a more standard looking layout, include some images (stock photos etc) but keeping with the abstract style....i think that would look better.

Well I know I could, but do I want to? This was a throw together, just do get somthing done lol. I think I may have some ideas tho This is hard tho, first design or anything for me in a few months. My brain is like toast, just missing the butter. It will come around im sure tho

the concept isn't a bad one, but the look needs some tweaking imo.

the outer glow on the body isn't very practical, a solid stroke would be a lot easier, especially for varaying height instead of restricting to iframes. i'd also aim for better typography in the header. he font is too blurry and it sports the same outer glow that i think just looks tacky.

the body isn't bad. it's arranged nicely, just give even spacing above and belowyour headings.
