  Old  Un-finished Portfolio Layout

I was sketching layout ideas in Accounting today and I came up with something like this except it was more extensive and the parts that where extensive where impossible for me to do in PS. so here it is.

I think it may be better if you lost the tape, those crosses, and that nav arrow, so you're just left with a box..

.. And maybe work from there?

The colours aren't my cup of tea, it reminds me of those giant lego bricks you played with as a child...(duplo I think) The menu is a little hard to read, the black in the title doesn't look good on the dark background either.

Scrap the transparent tape, red crosses, put your name at the top and get rid of the red "Brian", make the navigation more unique and you'll be onto a winner!

All it really needs is a tad more simplifying, i'm a minimalist so you can ignore my rant if you like
