i think it could work. my initial reaction to it was that it would be awkward to use, but i'm really warming up to it now. i'm also in agreeance that the D needs to be shaped more like a D. i get the symmetry part with the D, and i wouldn't change it drastically, but i think if you messed with the knockout piece it may be a bit more obvious.
