Yes. But first we must write code in notepad or notepad++ and then by using MSDOS we must call the java compiler to compile the program. If this is a pain you can simply use "eclipse" which is another program for Java programs. It free. You can download it from sun.java.com and its simple to use. Try it. I am also using it.
