And I'm sure you will be at the front of the line of those mourning .
And yes, there will be people who will miss me. Just not those who I've ****ed off (probably 1/4 of the people here)

That is true, take your side on where it will be when I'm gone. And don't worry, I will still post some on the weekends if I have time.

Certainly won't be a lot of honesty.
If you're going to start a host you really should have more than five employed staff taking shifts at different times to assure swift support. I would even recommend a lot more than that.

Village,
We know and appreciate the aspects that make the perfect host. But let's not make it a personal vendetta to make a witch hunt out of it. The clients that Brius has obviously know that they don't offer all of these services (such as 24/7 support - although you can easily call 1-800-54-BRIUS as stated on the site. Have you tried that? I bet not.), but yet, customers still sign up, and clients still remain loyal to us because of the people who run it, and the service it offers.
But our clients make the decision to host with people that they know and trust, rather then corporate guys who they will never get to meet, talk to, or even see. Can you name me the owners of your host WITHOUT going to their "About Us" page? Can you tell me how old they are, where they grew up? Can you find them on MSN and chat with them about their personal life? Tell me, do they even care about YOUR personal life? Would they hold your account open even if you can't make a payment because you have personal issues that make you unable to do so?
Before you preach to everyone about what YOU look for in a host, think twice about who wants to hear it, and who you are to even make your opinion public in the first place.

How many brius or nixism clients meet or actually see the owners? If I lived in Lansing Michigan I could go down to their offices and meet them.

Nope, but does that really matter? Many of my clients could not tell me my full name without looking at my paypal info. Does that make me a bad programmer?

Where they grew up is irrelevant. Even if it mattered, anyone can lie about that. For my host, how old they are doesn't matter because I don't have to worry about what year in their teens they are in. They are professionals running a eleven year old company.

No. Even if I could I don't care who they claim to be. I am looking for a host, not another friend.

Do the owners of brius and nixism care about MY personal life? I doubt it.

I have been a month late with a payment once. They didn't suspend my account.
Please make relevant points when comparing. I also see no mention of a phone number anywhere on brius.

To my knowledge, brius's datacenter is The Planet which is a very popular one. So many other companies could have been affected by this.
