Too simple and you don't want to NEED gloss to make something unflat. Maybe some gradients on the boxes would help. Also that grey text is hard to read.

Just FYI; that isn't a "Web 2.0" look. It's more of an aqua/Mac OS X look. Web 2.0 is generally more vividly colored and with less use of images (more reliant on CSS effects). I think the word you're actually looking for is "modern".

Not that it matters.

Also, just looking at that design I can tell you that the markup is going to be quite complicated. Depending on the client's needs you might want to cut down a bit on the gradients, rounded corners, and shadowed edges.

Looks nice and professional, though.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. It doesn't need to be web 2.0, just a concept for a client.
