Having a kid
Well, I just found out yesterday that my girlfriend is 3 months pregnant. I'm joyed by this, but at the same time I'm not sure how I'm going to break this to my parents. They can be understanding about some things, but my dad is one of those old timer, strict fathers and the fact that I'm only 17 (I'll be 18 by the time it's born) may cause me alot of problems.
Do any of you have any suggestions or anything? Have any of you had this situation?

I would abort as well. I know it'll be sad and all, but it'll cause too many set backs in your life, as you're still young.

Oh boy.
I offer you my best wishes and say good luck to you.
You're in for a tough go, but I've had friends that have made it through it so it's very doable. I don't have experience with this situation personally so I guess I'm really not one to comment.

Pretty much said it all.
If you're worried about what your folks are going to say you should of used contraception in the first place to prevent it happening.
Congrats anyway though, I guess.

Coat hanger. If you don't believe in abortion (due to religious or other reasons), and are stupid enough not to wear a condom then you had better pray that your luck changes.

If you think you'll have the will power and money to deal with a newborn baby at 18 then keep it. If you don't then abortion is the only other choice.

Talk to your parents first. Then you can discuss with them about what you can and should do.

Agreed with dicetomato. They will find out eventually, no matter how hard to try to keep it from them. Might as well tell them (instead of them finding out from other ways), and ask for advice, and also admit that you screwed up. If you knew you would have this much trouble telling your parents your girlfriend is pregnant, I'm going along with everyone and saying you are an idiot for not taking any precautions (though, if you did and they failed, I retract this statement).
