Old  website for client - truemedia

Hi,
I recently got back into designing after a break of 3-4 months.
I have a client who wants a website for his small company.

http://www.truemedia.be/antonicum.jpg

Its not 100% finished etc ,
but I would like your comments/suggestions

on another foum they told me the colors distracts u too much from the content.

So I tried some softer colors, at 50% opacity but when you will rollover it it would go to 100%. ( flash animated )

Thanks in advance
mathias

I prefer the second one, make one of the links at 100% so we can see what it'll be like.

I don't think the navigation color at the top goes with the overall flow of the template. Try to limit your color scheme to around 3 colors. I'd also suggest changing the text of your navigation aswell. I like the brown color you have used though, work around that.

I like a bit of colour, with a dark layout like that you dont want to make it too dull, it can be dark but with little bit's of bright colour, so i would go with the first one.
