Hello I wanted to know programming code as I am not sure on this project I am thinking off.
I want a similar site programming to Site point/ Deviant Art.
It should have a log in area, personal cp, automatically a user could submit there work and people would post and comment on it. It will be an auctions site so that people could bid and son. The projects would feature on the top page in certain categories. The Cp must have all of the user new updates, display pictures and so on.

It's always going to be round that ammount, they are huge sites.

From a freelancer: $5000
From a big company: $15k+

The script once made rounds over USENET. The dA script isn't for sale/licensing, but the ol' team at Shiver7 used to do it for a fee (about $2k).

What if something pretty besic and so on that could be asembled from many other srcipts and some freelancing.?

What's your budget? I hate to break it to you, but you won't be able to make the next dA without a hefty budget, if that.

You could make a halfassed DepthCore.

I dont to be as big or complex as da but i want something along the lines of thumbails in homepage and a rating and commenting system to each work posted by a user with his own log in area and cp. Any other css and xhtml i can do.

Could i squeeze this in for 400-600 max.

but that could be intergrated with custom graphics and the layout could be changed and so on. The billing system to be off untilthe webmaster chooses to use it and les complex but by using paypal it would charge a minimal amount.
