Hard drive
We'll I just ordered my new 250GB Lacie Porsche hard drive on Monday from TigerDirect.com (Because of paypal). It was suppose to come tomorrow but I came home and it was on my front porch. I installed it with ease and right now I am putting my files onto it. It is very nice, nice design and you can't even hear it. If you are looking to buy a external hard drive I would recommend it for you.

You should try www.newegg.com when looking for comp parts. Great site, and i use it because it also lets you pay with paypal.

Do they ship to the UK?
Edit: It appears not.

For the UK I can personally recommend http://overclockers.co.uk & http://ebuyer.co.uk. I bought my 320GB Western Digital hard drive from eBuyer, and it even lets you choose the day it arrives .
Which by the way, works seemlessly with Windows - So I can also recommend Western Digital MyBooks.

wasahobo if you read my first post I said the only reason I went with TigerDirect.com is because I had the money on my paypal and needed some place that accepted paypal. Sorry if I sound like im being mean but I am not I am just saying that the first post explains why I went to TigerDirect.com or else I would have went to NewEgg.com

I got a 250GB Western Digital Caviar SE a while back and it's really nice too. It's pretty quiet and the transfer rates are high. Also, it was an upgrade from an 80GB HD (which crashed, sadly), and it's very nice having so much storage space available
