  Old  When Coding in Dreamweaver

For some reason when coding in dreamweaver when i open the sliced html file from photoshop the design doesn't seem to sit at the top of the page. If your good with dreamweaver please post your msn and ill explain in more detail..

Please Help!

Thats a horrible way to code something, learn xhtml/css and hand code.

Then again, dreamweaver has its good points, and it's horrible points.

Learning basic PHP = dreamweaver.

Probably because your page still has default margins..

it probably is dreamweaver adding any code. or it shouldnt be. probably is the html generated by photoshop.

Might be easier to use dreamweaver for design and notepad for coding, that's what i do

What do you mean Dreamweaver for design? Dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG editor, you can do it in either view and all your doing is editing the code.

I don't see why people use NotePad except for "bragging" rights. I find it easier when Dreamweaver closes your tags and so forth.

Garrett, half the time DW closes tags, it's when I don't want it to. I find using Notepad(++), much easier than using DW.

Agree. I would never use Notepad for coding.
