  Old  YouTube, and like sites

Has anyone here tried promoting thier website using one of the popular sites like YouTube? I was just browsing some videos and saw someone had linked thier site in the description of the video.

I would think those that have similar sites may have tried this, but I'm curious if anyone has tried it for a none video / humor type site promotion???

yup, if you get 30 diggs on an article it goes to the front page, and you get mass traffic

Speaking of Digg, how can I put a "digg this" link on my page? I see a lot of blogs have these links under their articles, but after signing up with Digg and looking around, I see no such option (other than syndicating your articles to your blog... But I don't use a blogging platform like Blogger).

Creating a clip is both more expensive and more knowledge-required than creating an article. That's why is not as popular.

If you can do a very good video, you'll definetly get some quality visits. But to create a very good video is ... welll ... hard.
