Forum Owners.
Hey everyone,
If you own a forum or if you do already, how do you deal with people who have bad attitude toward other members? warning? what if they did it again and again by being smart as*s which means that they dont act that they mean it but the imply it. Whats the solution for these kind of member?

Generally ban them. Or at least temp ban them. It seems as though they are just pushing their boundaries and its wasting your and their time. Show your true colors my friend.

Ban them, if they piss you off. Just do what you want its your site. Ill probobly be banned from here anyway but seriously if they start annoying you, remember you are in charge and ban them. You need to make sure they know whos in charge, like when artico was banned here that was a good thing. I'll be next not like Im bothered.

Not unless they are a valuable member. And even then they asked for it. You give warnings and usually a "ill ban you if you continue" note and if they continue then they deserve it.

Ban would be the solution, or maybe suspend their account for a short period of time. I've banned or threatened to ban friends from my forum, no matter who they are they have to respect my rules. I had to ban one member on WDH, it wasn't the thing I enjoyed the most but what has to be done has to be done, especially if that member is ruining the atmosphere for everyone by beeing an ass. No matter who it is, take the required actions.

Ive permanantly banned a super mod before, they were so bad deleting my posts and editing them. He was asking for it. Do what you think is right, I hate smart ass's so it would be a ban.

You have to be strict, it's your forum and your rules. If someone breaks rules on tf then they get banned, no questions asked.

I had to ban someone about 15 times from a forum I used to run. I banned their e-mail but they'd keep changing it and coming back being real abusive to all of the other members and to the whole point of the forum.
In the end I had to ban their whole IP range :-/
