Im going to be honest with you. Some of them are realy great and nothing can be said other than that! But I realized that the smaller ones need some work. Attractive colors and images!
Good Luck!

Hey there, welcome to TFL. Anyway, your portfolio is alright IMO. Everything is just too plain and simple. To be honest, a lot of your banners and avatars looks like it were made following a tutorial. But it does look like you have the potential to become a great designer.

I appreciate that comments. Only the bad comments make a designer better is the way I think.
Are there any techniques I should know about to learn a little more about graphic designing? I'm looking to shoot towards the professional audience and make advertising banners, and sleek designs... Think anyone can help me with a few techniques?

That would be great. Do you happen to have AIM or MSN so I would be able to contact you instantly rather than waiting for replies?

Your portfolio isn't bad, but as others said a lot of it is kinda bland, IMHO. Banners should "wow" you and make you feel compelled to click on the banner. No offense to anyone else in that business, but one of the best people in the business for the money is the following:

I have used them, companies I worked for have used them, and many of my colleagues have used them and they do simply amazing work.
