I buy online all the time. Providing I don't need something urgently (which I usually don't), I find it much more convenient, and in most cases a whole lot cheaper to do so.
I've spent thousands online, and have ordered a lot of expensive stuff on other peoples behalf (mainly family), but personally the most expensive single item I have bought would be the laptop, which was only around £700 or so.

I'm not sure. If you count services then probably hiring a coder or hosting.
If you don't it would be when I bought like 3 t-shirts from tshirthell.com and had to get them imported

its usually cheaper
i know i've spent at least $5,000 online. lol
