Vizon: I've had enough with your stupid attitude and comments. Sure our ethusiasm was lacking in that thread, but lets see how you do as staff where we work for free because of our love for this community, and we don't get ANYTHING back, including any respect. If you look at a lot of the other web master forums, I don't know of many that will allow you to change your member title, yet you complain when you can't?
The skin will be up soon, however advisors aren't in the loop about the skin, so I only know that it will be up soon, as it's currently being coded. In the mean time, just be patient and stop whining about something that is a privilege.

Couldn't have said it better myself. (Seriously )

I'm going to keep my negative comments to myself here, all I want to talk about is why I don't think its good to keep it a secret. Complaining about the timeframe wont help, this might help my cause.
1. Keeping it all a secret from everyone makes it look like its farther away and you yourself dont really know in the first place.
2. When the last skin was booted by popular demand we lost allot of time. We would have saved lots of time if we would have known the concept earlier should you have been less secretive.
3. The suprise factor only lasts a short while, it was good around November, but that was 8 months ago. When trying to surprise someone on one thing for too long, it looses surprise and the people either get annoyed or just don't care anymore.
If we could at least know most of what we are waiting for it would renew interest and patience. Where been waiting 8 months for something and we don't even know what it will look like.

I already did, and I'm sure Zee appreciated the offer, but might have already had someone to do it. Also, you said you haven't heard back from him, so who says you were denied?

I heard from him. He is a nice guy...I just think he should give some admins a bit more power. In all of him PM's or Threads I have asked about he has always informed me on the issue. I personally think he is a nice guy
Back on topic: Zee if you could give us some info that would be awesome

The skin is in the last stages over converting the design to html/css.
There are 3 stages:
1/. - Design as PSD
2/. - Code as HTML/CSS
3/. - Impliment as VB skin and ensure hacks etc work
Stage 2 should be complete today / tomorrow.
As Jeff said, we are keeping it low profile as A/. Want to keep it a suprise B/. Have been burnt before by announcing things before we can guarantee delivery dates.
People who know need to know about the skin, are fully in the know. This has been kept to a close circle to avoid "leaks". Just because they are not blabing all over the forum about the skin, doesn't mean they are in the dark about it.
To all those that have provided support in this thread - you have my thanks.
To all those who have been negative in the thread, - I'm prepared to take some flak, provided you are prepared to contribute something useful to the forum and eat your words when we do deliver.
Thanks

If your coder can't guarantee a date, you need a new coder.
