I found that I was constantly using systems such as ImageShack and then having to copy it from the site to the forums and then forgetting what images I had uploaded, etc... So Rob and I figured that if we integrated a system into the forums, it would make life much easier for people. I'm working on a gallery system as Aros brought up and it'll allow you to show off your works to other users and get comments/ratings. I even have ideas for a quick dropdown when making a post where you can insert uploaded images.
Regards,
Patrick

Ah yes, vBAGallery, it's a good system, I'll admit that. But as a programmer I don't like using pre-made systems when I don't have to. This way we can get exactly what we want for our community without having to hack up another system. Besides, where would the home-made love be if we turned TF into a pre-made-type portal

Patrick

Fair enough, I like the idea's you mentioned before this quoted post - Something actually integrated instead of a standalone page.
