CSS navigation with lists
Other than excessive outlining in Firefox, is there any reason that unordered lists w/ CSS shouldn't be used for navigation?
Also, is there a 'better' way of coding site navigation?

JS = SE nightmare
Lists are the correct form as it's a list of links.
The idea of coding with CSS is that the site is fully functional without the stylesheet - the stylsheet then just gives it a style

You shouldn't really use anything other than lists (ordered or unordered) for navigation, as navigation is a list of links.

I don't see any reason not to use lists.

Yeah, I do always use lists.
I was just wondering whether it's the best way of coding navigation, after reading this post.

What do lists and people who code css rollovers poorly have to do with each other?

I'm assuming that your question is actually how to make lag-free css rollovers, and not what you wrote in your post.
I already wrote up a post about it for Bennett, which can be seen towards the bottom of this page: http://www.talkfreelance.com/showthr...t=23661&page=2
I still have no idea what 'excesive outlining' has to do with lists, or rollovers.

In firefox, when "text-indent:-9999px;" is used, firefox will outline an active link all the way across the page.
