konfabulator - Anyone tried this?
I've been using this for a few days now, it's pretty cool
You can customise the widgets and have various utilities for time/weather (in any country you like) picture frames, alarms, reminders etc.
Download it and see what you think!

I used it for awhile back then. I've stopped now because my system was running slow so I had to get rid a lot of it.

I love Konfabulator. It helps me in some way, every day from weather to just about anything I have downloaded (notepad, calendar, etc.), its awesome.
One thing I don't like about it is that it is a bit funky remembering which widgets you have open or not when you add new ones. It seems that when I restart it after opening then hiding a widge I newly downloaded, it comes back. I don't know if anyone else has been having this problem, but it is a bit confusing - maybe there is a trick I don't know?

Nope, I don't think so . Thanks!
I absolutely love some of the widgets, but it irks me how I don't really know how they work.

I've tried it out on Windows. It made my system really slow.
If you're running KDE on Linux, there's plenty of things like this and they don't really slow down your system either.

Never used it but I use the widgets in Tiger, pretty good. Currently tracking a random plan flying over the Atlantic, keeping tabs on the weather in Austrailia and checking out what's on TV tonight
