[Illustrator cs2] What font's work?
Hey
I'm a complete stranger to illustrator, i just got the tryout version, lol. However, the program won't let me use the font's i want to use, i get this error when i try to save the file with text in it:
"an unknown error has occurred"
What the heck? Anyone know why I get this error, and how i could prevent it, and be able to use all my fonts in illustrator and on prints?
Thanks in advance,
Jake

I can only suggest that you convert your type to outlines. Doing that, however, will make the text uneditable.

You are possibly using fonts that have limited licenses. I have done designs in Illustrator, but not been able to save them as .ai's because of licensing restrictions (I do own the fonts).

Try to save it in Illustrator, if it says it can't save the font due to licensing restriction you'll know it's restricted.
