Making Site: Need Ideas
Hi,
I have just been reading the digg.com blog and saw the success of their site, I am going to set myself a personal goal to try and make a site of that size, So I need some ideas of what you tfl users would like as a site.
The idea can be compeltely new or it could be a revamped version of another type of site - I dont mind. Please post all your ideas and tell me in detail not:
I want something from you like:
What about a site like Del.icio.us but instead of having sites have podcasts or something.
|
The more detail the better.
I want as many ideas to choose from and if the site does become good like digg, You will get credit for the idea.
Steven

No offence, but no one is going to give away a 'revolutionary' idea such as digg

Good luck, I doubt anyone will really give you their ideas for sites that could become that big.
If you are interested in creating a site with me using my idea (several people in the target audience have thought it was a great idea), and would be willing to code the PHP/MySQL (super-advanced) side of it and help me buy a design, then let me know.

If you ever want to make something as good or successful as Digg it wont be us to give you that idea. Do you think that Kevin Rose asked people on a forum for ideas?
Sit down, get out a pen and paper and do some brainstorming. Things like this take effort, on your half.

Make a site where it has unique content written by you, pay for some traffic and put my Adsense code on the website. That would be one EPIC site.
Other than that, why not look at some things that are solely off line applications and try to bring them to be in online functional form.
