Who uses dreamweaver?
I personally don't. I use notepad for any coding/editing I ever need to do. I find dreamweaver annoying to say the least, I don't like all the help it trys to give you when you're working! It's like that damned microsoft paperclip. Frustrating to say the least.

I used it a while ago, when I didn't fully understand how tables worked, but now I don't use anything like it at all.

I used notepad when I first started (8 years ago) then started using Homesite. When Macromedia bought Homesite I ''moved up'' to Dreamweaver back in version 2 or 3. For about 4 years I used it purely in design view then started working in split view to fix stuff that it was spitting out wrong.
Last year I moved to using purely code view with MX 2004 and have only used split view twice since then, both for a couple of real quick, real low budget projects.

I use dreamweaver MX at the moment, combined with my HTML knowledge it works very VERY well.

I use dreamweaver I see nothing wrong when you dont use the WYSIWYG side of it though, I always check through a browser. Plus its saves time and works fine. I use it to code 25% of the css coding. Rather then typing out body {bla} h1{bla} and all that I use its page properties feature. Plus I know most of what im adding and the little menu that comes up is great. I just hit the down arrow five times and I dont have to type background-image or whatever.

I use DW just the same as if I used Notepad, like I code all by hand anyways, it just helps me coding faster, cause I can just type the 2-3 first letters and then select it directly, saves a bit of time.

I don't use dreamweaver. I use Edit Plus 2 for all my web development type of stuff.
