[Debate] Do you think God exists?
The age old questions I guess, I think he does exist (sure, i'm christian and I have been all my life) but I just think how amazing this world is and can't believe that we were merely created but some sort of scientific explosion all those years ago in the big bang. I think to be able to create something as amazing as human life is far more complex than the brain can even begin to imagine....
What are your thoughts?

i believe there is "something" that created everything, but God? I don't know about that one... It's easy for a lot of people to believe there is a big guy upstairs with a long white beard who will forgive you for everything you do and let you into 'heaven', but i dont know... sounds like a storybook to me... lol

I believe that God exists--our complex universe is just too amazing to come from absolutely nothing.
And on the theory of evolution: if they believe that we evolved from monkeys then why not have the government quarantine a million of them over the next hundred or so generations and see if they evolve into humans. I can guarantee you not even one of them will.
I'm not trying to force Christianity on anyone, but I find evolution to be too far-fetched.

Not everything has to have a creator... if god does exist maybe he created himself, afterall he created the world as we know it, Things today have no creator's, also the old age question comes into play, what came first the chicken or the egg?
Im not relly sure on this question, I'd love to think god does exist and we go to heaven when we die, but im a bit narrow minded and only believe in things we can see, feel and touch.

I'm an atheist, so not really. I don't just not beleive in god, I don't beleive in any kind of higher power.
I just think we're some totally organic growth like any plant or creature, and we live and die, end of that. it's not like a plant would go to heaven.. I don't see us as any different.

Noway its all aload of crap, the pope wasted his time making people believe in rubbish to. We were created scientific way, I wont go into detail about it but youve probobly all done your A's in science anyway. But if we can mix different things together we come out with a different chemical. Think about say a kebab I left in my room and forgot about, when I opened it, it was full of mold. Now who created that mold huh Just the same as we were created and maggots etc.. But evolutuion after loads of years brought us to how we are now. Everytime somone reproduced and created say a handicapped version(gonewrong) of there type then it would keep happening when they have kids. Some with different features.

I've never seen any proof of Gods existance though. Maybe some guy wrote stories years and years ago, but when actual recorded history came into play all these miracles and stuff just disappeared..
I need proof.. I dont just wanna read about it.. I wanna see. See the same thing that everyone else would if it were revealed.. but.. yeah. I still beleive it's a bunch of bologne.
