What do you think about this? Do you think it will have a major impact on existing hosts? Do you think they could integrate it with windows and create a monopoly of sorts?

Depending on how much they really want it I think they have the resources to dominate the industry. I believe they will get a flock of customers just from their name.

Quiet possibly they will. But we will have to wait and see. I'm rather curious on how this will turn out.

I'm not sure if they're planning to offer hosting to the everyday consumer, more than likely it would be targeted at large businesses. I'm not sure they can integrate it with windows anyway due their anti-trust lawsuit.

They have enough money and other things, can't they just leave other people alone?

I'm kind of fed up of seeing microsoft trying to beat everyone else, they should get over themselves!

I don't see what difference Microsoft will make in the market, I don't see that they will offer Linux web hosting. I don't have a server on a Windowns Server.

Well...few months ago there were talks of Google entering the hosting scene,
should be intresting if both Microsoft and Google enter the same time...

Pity the average hosting company tho.....
