my view is that its relable more power to your programs better secuity and best of all the new layout e.g. the start bar and the icons and the backgrounds and the totally ace screen saver. .

yes i have the beta skin and it one of my favourites and i would defiatley buy the full thing when ever i can because i am currently low on cash, but oh well, i do like the layout of it and the buttons and i think that it is easier to control and understand then windows xp or earlier version, i would think that it will be the top buying program for nex year and i cant wait for it

I think its great if your pc can handle it Don't upgrade unless you have ABOVE the recommended system (trust me, it will be very slow unless you have something decent (By todays standards(it is a next-gen OS))); ?>

Yeah, it's obviously going to be good because it will be the latest OS with more fixes, features and stuff.....I agree with YC, don't get it unless you have a top of the line computer.

I have had for a bit now and is performing Excellently well. I had my doubts it because when i had windows xp my computer had lots of problems with it but ever since i upgraded it to windows vista beta 2 it hasnt had no problems what so ever with it i recommend getting it if your one of those people who upgrade there computer when a new os comes out most developers and programmers do.

I'm very impressed, not only in the new style Microsoft has been developing, but the amount of detail they have put into making their OS actually work. I believe they have been listening this whole time to their customers complaints, and are going to work accordingly to make this new version of Windows really great.

I am really looking forward to Vista. However, the only thing that will scare me is the price its going to be. I can already say its going to be very expensive. So, I can't say I'm looking forward to buying it (but these days we don't have to worry about that, do we?).

Wasn't 2000 and ME basically the same? Anyway, i think Vista will be a really good operating system. I really can't wait for it!
