Old  What do you usually get for lunch?

I've just discovered the taste of sensation. Got one of these immenseful pasta pots from Tesco for £2.

Anyone else usually get these for lunch? Or an ASDA, Sainsburys, Morrisons.. Liddle's... alternative that I should know about?

Bit of an odd thread I know.

With me its whatever I find. Usually pick up lunch from the local store (buffet), but a lot of times settle for a couple of self-made sandwiches.

These days its often whatever is around the house. Back when I worked at the office, the usuals were: Portillos, Subway, Jimmy Johns, Chipotle, Burger King, McDonalds, Noodles and Company and a few no-name places in the area. All but Portillos was less than 10min away. I loved working in that town (Oak Brook for the Chicago people here).

That McDonalds in Oak Brook is the fanciest I have ever seen.

It's two floors with about 10 Plasmas and Wifi. I usually go there when my Comcast is down and chill.

I think we are taking about different locations, it the one you are talking about next to Midwest and Butterfield or in the mall? If its in the mall I've never been there at all. Again, next time I'm in the area and need a burger I'll check it out.

I have proper meals throughout the day (no difference between breakfast and dinner) which suprises people. Today for lunch was a couple salmon fillets, tomatoes and mushrooms.

I spend a lot on food, and eat a lot. Also eat fairly healthy though.

Generally self-assembled sandwiches of all shapes and varieties for me, though sometimes I'll take a break and make up a tub of pasta, rice, salad or soup. Always have at least one portion of fruit too, again of all shapes and varieties (lots of satsumas lately).
