Old  Newbie Freelance Graphic Designer wants to know the right way to get paid online?

I want to dive in to the Freelance world and I've been looking at some Freelance sites but I'm a little leery about how I'm going to get paid...do I set up a PayPal account or does anyone else have a suggestion. I live in a small town in Nebraska and bank at the home town bank. Don't exactly know how to word this question. I guess I want to know how other people do Freelancing?

Paypal is pretty standard for online payments, they will link with any bank account.

I can't speak on behalf of everyone else, but the majority of people I have worked with have used paypal. You have to be aware of transaction fees though, I think they've changed them recently. I think one person used google checkout (if that is the name). But paypal seems to be a fail safe bet, so worth having it set up anyways.

  Old  Paypal is best

Go for Pay-pal. It is the most used for online transaction.

You can also send your bank a/c information for money transfer.

Just need to send the A/c number to your client.

i also like google checkout (prefer to pay with that when i have the option) and as far as fees, i think they are on par with paypal.
