Only things I need it for are dreamweaver and photoshop, but I’m looking for a way to get those running on Ubuntu.

I've looked into that, but I heard that on wine they'd work rather slow.
So I'm thinking about buying Crossover Office ... which is said to be good and fast. But it's not really cheap.

He'll be back soon, I tried Ubuntu many times from Windows and OSX - it just doesn't quite cut what we really use for web development.
