Torrent Tracker Layout

Well, this weekend I decided to design something, I also gained access to the private blackcats-games tracker. They have a competition running atm to design them a new interface, so I decided I'd enter.

A good overall layout.

I do not like the left menus, especially the head text: "General, Personal & Welcome" It seems a bit squeezed in there. It needs space. I believe that the menu bar at the top could be improved, it looks a bit dull in contrast to everything else in the layout, but I might be wrong. Sometimes it looks best the way it is right now.

I totally LOVE the gradients and gloss on the news, poll and torrent needing seeds boxes, they are really good. Oh, and the outer glow on the currently seeding/currently leeching icons look off..

I like it.

Seems you may have used too many colors. But the overall layout is good.
