Do you believe it is important for a web host to have a *discussion* forum (non-support channel, just member to member discussions)? What are your thoughts on the pros and cons of a web hosting with a forum?

Thank you for your time to respond.

Hey,

Ive had the same problem as you before. It is good to have a forum as people can connect on your site and you can get a community going. The problem comes is moderating the forums you don't want the wrong things to be said on the site. When you first start the forums they will have a low amount of posts on them which can make your business look small and unprofesional.

Hope this helps, need to talk more email me - Me[at]JonnyUK.com

Regards,

Jonny

Chad,

It's not necessarily important per say, but it's an effective way, as pointed out above, to increase potential montly traffic, and relations between clients to employees, clients to clients, or clients to the public, or the public to employees.

Experience and knowledge has widened broadly, and with a discussion forum, it helps as a Social Network.

As such, I would recommend one.
